I've gotta' start on the carbs soon now that the wheels are done. You've set a pretty high bar. Very nice work!

Great Job by the way!!!!!
I started using button head screws rather than cap screws. I think they look more like the original philips heads and still shows a little bling. See the red carbs for an example.

Great looking carbs
renobruce should offer up his services to do this on a full time basis. I bet there are a lot of gs owners who would be willing to have this done by someone who gets such good looking results.
Beautiful work mr. renobruce.Larry

Beautiful work mr. renobruce.
Carb rebuilding and painting, and aluminum polishing.
As slow as my regular business has been, I'm always looking to make extra money. Lately I've even been doing automotive mechanic work...brakes, tune-up, clutches, etc.Last edited by renobruce; 04-28-2009, 11:12 PM.

I have heard that the iron oxide (black screws) rust pretty quickly. Keep an eye on that.

Reno,
What kind of prep did you do on the cross bar that holds the carbs together? They have some kind of coating or something to them.
Thanks,
