i've been lurking a bunch and thought i'd post a thread of my progress. This is my third GS i've owned and I bought it as a $75 parts bike. I painted the tank, wheels, and frame last night and will be doing some more painting in a few minutes. My pictures kinda suck, but the tank turned out great.

I used a ppg single stage urethane. I just bought a new devilbiss finishline spray gun and i'm pretty happy with the results. as soon as i find my camera i'll post some more pics.

Looks great! Are you going to add any pinstripes or another color? Or stick with the shiny black? Either way, very sharp!

not sure, i might two-tone it but i'll probably leave it black for now. just got back from the bahamas yesterday, so i finally get some time to put the thing back together.
