Single side swing arm for 78gs1000???
I found a single side swing arm from a honda with tire and wheel. I have a 78gs1000. It would look pretty sick on there but what would be the modifications I would have to make?? suspension, brake, frame, size of tire??? I would appreciate some feedbackTags: None

hope over to http://oldskoolsuzuki.info/ they are more into extreme mods.
the wildest around here is fitting a mono shock to a gs100078 GS1000 Yosh replica racer project
82 Kat 1000 Project
05 CRF450x
10 990 ADV-R The big dirt bike
P.S I don't check PM to often, email me if you need me.

Just off the top of my head I can see where you would need to heavily brace the pivot area of the frame, rebore the holes the pivot bolt fits through to allow for a bigger bolt, make room between the frame rails for the pivot on the swingarm, and figure out the shock mounts.

Agreed about OldSkool though - they have done it a zillion times.

In the forums there's a few SSSA mod threads.Current:
Z1300A5 Locomotive (swapped my Intruder for it), GS450 Cafe Project (might never finish it....), XT500 Commuter (I know - it's a Yamaha )
Past:
VL1500 Intruder (swapped for Z1300), ZX9R Streetfighter (lets face it - too fast....), 1984 GSX750EF, 1984 GSX1100EF (AKA GS1150)
And a bunch of other crap Yamahas....
