      Beautiful bike; Looks like You have been really busy . Beyond your bike having those beautiful original Cooly colors, and loving the blacked out Yoshi pipe, I love the detail in the seat, curve on the windshield, and the shocks look very retro and complement the whole look.

      The front fender carries the style from the bottom of the fairing; very nice.

      Great detail thanks for sharing.

        I'd give my left nut for that exhaust.....anyone want a slightly used left nut for their yoshi pipe?

          There is only one thing that I would change, if I had this bike.
          And that would be the name on the title. Trying to get some
          work done on my bike, but I keep having to stop and look at
          your bike again. What kind of paint did you
          use one the engine ?

            Never2old-what a freaking beauty! What shocks are those from? There isn't a single part on your bike I even consider changing. The whole thing just plain WORKS! Good job. Thanks for all your inspiration to us! (I was following your paint blog religiously!)

              ..too funny! Sorry to be a distraction. The engine paint is Duplicolor engine enamel. Satin for the covers, and Low Gloss for the block and cylinders.

                Thanks oshanac, I try to use parts that work in harmony, w/o any one piece drawing more attention. If it works as a total package and you can't quite put your finger on just why, then I'm satisfied. The rear shocks are '83 Honda CB1100F shocks..same source for the front fender. I also got a beautiful dash and gauge package off that bike that I'll use on something someday.

                  You never know when one of these pipes will show up. I mentioned in an earlier post a couple of months or so ago, that this pipe came up on eBay (after a fruitless 2-year search), and I picked it up for $11.50. I know, I still can't believe it either. I had the only bid on a no reserve auction. The seller was sick to his stomach I'm sure, but really nice about it, too. It's in absolutely perfect condition. Body parts in exchange, and an important one, too... Thanks very much for the compliment.

                          Nah..just gonna leave em off and go with hand signals. Looks cleaner w/o them I think.

                            Yes it is a stunning S. I don't think I could have started my paint work without your thread, thanks for taking the time to teach along with your project. If my work turns out half as nice I'll be very happy. I could look at that bike all day, well done.

                              There's a great sense of satisfaction that comes with doing it yourself, even more so if you've had to struggle with it. I'm glad I was able to help get you started, way to go! I'll be anxious to see your results.

                                Better check your local laws. In Ohio, if it had signal markers to begin with, it HAS to have them. Yeah, you might not get bothered with, but if some LEO is having a bad day, you just might also. And, if you stick with no signals, watch out man. People dont know wtf hand signals mean anymore...
