Looking at tail lights (85 GS550L)

Im in the process of altering my 1985 GS550L. Here's an image of one stock. I pulled the 'stepped' rear fender, aluminum rear grab bars and etc. I'm adding a black Honda Rebel fender. I already have some very small turn signals, but i'm looking for a brake light.

First, all the aftermarket lights I see are two-wire, the stock light is 3-wire. Can I get those aftermarket 2-wires to work as a running/stop light?

Next, any opinions on the 'Sparto' style tail light on a rebel fender? Black and chrome are both available. I like it because its small, like the turn signals, and the bike too.
