Tank mod?
Not sure how to stf for this particular subject, as I'm not sure what the proper name is. But I have an extra tank for my 77 GS 750, and love the looks of tanks that have the sides "recessed". I know this is basically taking a body hammer and beating the sides in (for starters), but is anyone aware of a tutorial out there which shows exactly how this might be done? Hope that made sense. . .Tags: None

Why don't you mark out the tank accurately where you want the "indents " to go , cut them out then weld them back on the opposite sides ? Cheers , Simon.http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...esMapSimon.jpg

Jeeze, what am I dealing with, a bunch of geezers?!!?
Sorry, it's a common acronym on my nerdy mac forum I participate in. People there are always b*tchin' about new guys askin the same inane questions, thus the quote "stff!" which means Search the Forum and you can guess what the extra 'f" stands for. Hope that clears things up, and I promise to keep my acronyms to a minimum here.
