Why you'd want to do this I can't imagine, but here you go:

Motion Pro will make custom cables:
Motion Pro - High quality cables, tools and controls for motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and personal watercraft.
      1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
      2005 KLR685, Aztec Pink - Turd II.3, the ReReReTurdening
2015 Yamaha FJ-09, Magma Red Power Corrupts...
      Eat more venison.

Please provide details. The GSR Hive Mind is nearly omniscient, but not yet clairvoyant.

There must be something lost in the translation. In the UK Ape Hangers are the bars Agemax posted in his photo. You need something a wee bit lower than that for comfort. Bars off a CG125 for example would be a lot higher than standard and you'd definitely be sitting upright with those fitted. Or maybe motocross bars?

Oh, and I agree with you - most of the guys on here are idiots - I know I certainly am . If we weren't we'd be riding modern bikes

Nothing lost, here in the US Ape Hangers are foolishly high handlebars that are guaranteed to be uncomfortable and impede handling.

Don't sweat it, they meant it in the good way as in gay = happy.
Go ahead make it your own, I think what you will see on here is these folks are really concerned about safety. I would say thought be careful how high you go. And with anything you do here postapic of your ride. Good luck

that pic is a joke, no one in their right mind would do that. i'm looking for something that my arms would be straight out from my shoulders. my stock bars have 10 inches of rise which is 2 inches less than most hangers. 14 inches would be ideal.

It's absolutely real. I'm kinda surprised you don't have these fools where you live. I've seen probably 3 or 4 bikes on the road that had bars up around the rider's head or so.

They're all over around here. I had a friend who had a set on his shovel head Harley. I rode it once just to see what it was like and honestly, it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be. Granted, I never left the neighborhood and didn't ride faster than 25mph. I certainly wouldn't ever want to ride like that at highway speeds. Being a human sail is not something I care to experience.

                              Cheers.
