    Handlebar Advice or suggestions Needed

I'm wanting to replace the handlebars on my 1981 GS650L with a new set simular to stock nothing really wrong except crome is a little discolored at top bend.
I found a set I think I want made by Bike Master style Nighthawk that look close to O.E.M. but I'd like imput from the masses.
    Thanks.

Physically, they will probably fit, as they are 7/8" bars.

The only other thing is if you fit them. Depends on your riding style and personal preference.

I got the Bikemaster LTD bars for my 82 650L and they are really nice. Cheap and easy to install, look good and are really comfortable. I highly recommend them. I didn't like the pullback of the original bars so I went with the LTD over the Nighthawk. Not sure how different they are, but the LTD is really comfortable and everyone who's sat on my bike commented about how nice the bars felt. They also fit the looks of the bike very well. Hope this helps.

Try looking through your local auto salvage yard if they have motorcycles. You never know what you will find. I found a set of bars on a blown dirtbike that were perfect for my bike. As well as many small parts and connectors you wouldn't think about

Don't know if you got anything yet, but I have a set of stock "L" bars off an 1100 that I don't need. You can have them for the cost of shipping if you want. They look decent enough. Will probably shine right up with some chrome polish. I can take some pics if you want. Just let me know.
