    '82 GS300L (d)evolution.

I kinda forgot about this place, sorry! I figured I'd show some pics of Snowflake from when I got it to now.

    The day it came home.

It had a windshield, but I took it off before the pics.

The OEM speedometer was off so I put on a bicycle computer to get the correct speed.

I did this at work and liked it.

So I painted the tank as well. The windshield is on as is the backpack cuz I was spending a lot of time at my gf at the time's house & doing a lot of commuting. Also replaced the stock bars with some off a 4 wheeler.

Painted the engine guards and exhaust next.

My starter quit starting so I rebuilt it.

Eventually I got a tank bag so bye bye backpack! Also this pic was taken early December.

Last ride of the year, 27DEC

Took off the instrument cluster, rear hold on bar thing and windshield.

Black fenders and a touch up on the motor.

    Black wheels and gas cap.

GS, meet XJ. XJ, meet GS.

      Moved the turn signals in.

      Then came the gas mask.

BS, meet GS. GS, meet BS.

Removed the rear fender, shortened signals in and put the tail light from the Bridgestone on it.

Then I flipped the bars, but that was uncomfortable so now I have some bars off my mountain bike on there. 26" width, 1.5" rise and about 7° backsweep.

When March gets here I'm bringing home an '88 GSX600/Katana then Snowflake here will most likely have the front brake removed, rear shocks replaced with struts and, if I can figure out how, make is a 1 seater.

So black on black with a little bit of black, eh?
Does the gasmask get hot during a long ride?

Macguyver - Hasn't melted at all yet so it seems to be good. The longest I've gone with it on there is only a couple hours though.

mriddle - It's the only way I could get them in closer.
