hard seat problems
i have a 82 1100 that i maed into a hard tail.i made my own seat with some sheet metal aluminum with a set of springs under it but it seems to rough(yes i know its rough cause i made a hardtail out of it!) i know theres a few out there that know of some springs with shocks? help me here with your info if any!Tags: None

I like the way it looks, however, in the early eighties I did the same thing to my '82 1100E and man oh man it killed my back, I could not stand to ride the bike for more than a few miles so needless to say I put the regular shocks back on.
It all depends on the tension of the springs you are using in order to dampen the impact frequency. There are two main types of spring systems, high frequency low impact and low frequency high impact, you would most likely be needing the low frequency high impact.http://www.visitedstatesmap.com/imag...TXUTWAWIsm.jpg
