Can anyone tell me if this is a stock tank for a 1981 GS750? If not, what it might be off? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help guys. I didn't realize there are differences in the sheetmetal between models.
Does anyone know how this tank compares in size to a 78 GS750 tank?

What are you looking for exactly? I have a couple of 750 tanks i pounded knee inserts into Id be willing to part with. They need to be finished, but if you're doing a project, might be perfect for ya..

I have a 78 750 project I picked up. It has a stock tank which I like the style of, but need something slightly smaller. The bike is stripped down to the basics, so it makes the tank look too large for the bike. That tank I posted is different in style, but I thought that it look pretty good.
I still might trying sectioning the stock tank, but it would be much easier if I found something smaller that worked.
What you looking to get out of the tanks?

It sure does look like the 750T tank. It even has the small notches at the rear of the tank for the side covers. It doesnt look like the L model has that. http://engelcycles.com/SuzukiGS750T_1982.jpg
