    Cruise Control

What's a good cruise control for an 81 GS850GX with OEM grips? I have a throttle rocker, and that's good and all, but it slips and I want to be able to rest my arm every now and then.

    Buster,
Check out this thread that had a pretty extensive discussion over that subject.

It's not a solution to your cruise control question - but I had the same problem with my throttle rocker slipping.

Solved that one by using a 1" long piece of bicycle tube under the throttle rocker - this added enough to the diameter of the grip to stop slippage.

Hands down the vista-cruise is awesome and fairly reasonable!

I used a throttle rocker for a year and it was ok. The vista-cruise really allows you to relax your hand and it works great.
