They look good, but the real question is...Are they comfortable for you?

I am of the opinion that if they are comfy and work for you, who cares how they look?

Yep, I think they are way better, but I guess Im well used to the leaning forward thing due to past sports bikes, so I find it easy.

          Looks do help too though

Yes, gives it that tough hooligan look. Any one wanna race ? I gotta believe youre a less than 30ish GSers. When you get closer to 50ish youll want those grandpa bars back .

Now do away with those grandpa mirrors.....

Nice looking bars but the lollipop mirrors don't compliment it. I would recommend shorter mirrors or, my favorite, Napolean mirrors.

Ha ha ha..your close, Im 33yrs, and yes Ive hung the old bars up in my shed for future use

The mirrors are next to go. They are not the originals anyway, and they are too long looking now with those bars.
Im on the look out though, shorter is the way to go.

I even thought of leaving them off altogether after looking through old bike pics in magazines as you dont have to have them by law here, but they are handy I guess....

Diggin' the drag bars...I got a set i'm gonna throw on tonight. My question to you is what clutch and throttle cable are you running....I was looking at the stock cables and they seem like they are gonna be excessively long, so much so that they might hinder throttle or clutch actuation? Wondering if you have any problems? As for mirrors I use these.....

I did try and tidy the cables as best i could, and i find it handles way better.
But, i am having a bit of trouble!
Please see the post i stuck up here today.

Well, they look good, hope they are comfortable for you. (I know they would not work for me. )

My question, though, is where did you get the grips? I am looking for some like that.

Got both bars and grips on ebay. I will try and get you the item number steve. Picked them up handy enough too.
Yes, I much rather this position

The grips fitted on nice and tight, though they are chrome effect they do go with all the rest of it on my bike I think......

I'd look into bar-end mirrors with those bars. I'll bet you can't see past your elbows with those others. Looks really slick.
