Love the fairing so far..does make a difference..not nearly as much wind and it stabilizes the bike at speed..well worth the $90 I paid..

I like the Maier fairing. Looks great. So what are your thoughts about it? I've been looking at a few fairings recently...
And where did you find it? On eBay, they're priced at $120.

parts-unlimited sells them but you can only get them thru a dealer, around $120. There are 2 different sized ones for the 7" round head light. I got the bigger one and it's def. not too big. I wouldn't want the smaller one.1979 GS850G

I also like your custom side cover treatment, with the metal panels. I had to do something similar to that with my Honda VF700S when I lost one of the plastic side panels and a replacement turned out to be near-unobtainium.
Are those OEM shocks on your GS750? How do you like them? I'm taking an informal poll (over in the tires, suspension, brakes forum). I just replaced the set of S&W street strokers my bike came with when I bought it, with a used OEM set off of Ebay - the aftermarket shocks were way too stiff for my needs.
