    Polishing protection

    Hi i have polished a few alloy parts on my restoration of my gs1000 and i know that eventually the shine will go so should i have them protected if so what would be the best method? Thanks

    furniture polish, like pledge etc, or belgom alu. apply frequently and it will shine
    1978 GS1085.

    Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!

          WIZARDS POWER SEAL If you dont want to bother clear coating. It will protect against rust and oxidation on any metal. I have used it for years and it great stuff. Just apply very liberally and rub into the metal, let set overnight to penetrate the metal, and buff out. their metal renew works pretty well too for polishing aluminum.
