    Just a bit of sanding/polishing

There's been this spot on top the stator cover where the lowers of the Pacifico fairing I used to have kinda touched which created sort of a big booger lookin' spot. So, I decided to test my sanding and polishing prowess on that spot. So, I got out the 220, 400 and 2000 grit paper and went to work. Then followed up with some 3M rubbing compound I have. Came out pretty good. Can be better I guess with some proper polishing techniques, since it was all by hand. But, I guess I'm less hesitant about tackling all the covers this winter though.

Bring it over this fall or coming spring, after you get the covers sanded down to 1500grit, We can polish them right on the bike

I'll take a pic tonight and put it up, but it's only one little spot. Didn't think it was worth the trouble.

Josh, thanks for the offer. Will do. I'll give you a shout when I'm ready.
