YSS do probably the cheapest Piggy Backs. Other than that I think you could look out for a set on Ebay.....

Being in Oz if I was you I would go for IKON shocks.

      early bandit piggyback shocks.....

hi guys i,ve been looking on the internet at 1997-99-2000,,,model 1250 bandits that have dual piggyback shocks ,,,,,are any of the better knowledge guys aware of these shocks and because they have top and bottom eyes ,,could i still fit them to my 1980 gs1000e,,, or would i have to make a bottom U shaped bracket to fit the swingarm where the bottom of the shock mounts regards david

I guess it depends on how cheap you can get the bandit, ZRX, CB etc etc socks.
If you can get them for the right price, then making a new mount on the swinger would be the way to go, especially if you have a pet aluminium welder......

You'll also need to check length & travel etc too.

I have a set of Piggy backs like these that I will sell:

You'd have to make up your own Clevis for the bottom end & find a bolt to fit the bottom of the shock (to replace the bottom eye as it unbolts). It will be a metric size.

These are sized to fit the 1000G so depending on how you made your bottom clevis you'd probably end up with a slightly longer shock (some say this is not a bad thing).

They have preload & also damping adjustment (they are a copy of the Ohlins shock & adjust in the same way).

I'd let them go for $200 plus shipping.

            This is the actual set:

I have the right size brass pipe stock that you can drill & cut to make the top bushes at the correct size. (Same thing that I did with the other set on the 1000E pictured) or you can use a set of bushes out of a stock set (or order them online, they are still available).
