What paint colour is the blue on GS1000S

I need to paint my fairing on my GS1000S replice,

Does anyone know how I can find out what colour the blue is please?

Here's one link I found using the search feature but I thought you could find the original paint code on one of the parts fiche sites...i'm still looking

Okay, another add. Go to http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm and look up year and model of your bike. Look at the frame covers and the last three digits of the part number equates to the paint code.

If the rest of the bike is already painted, an auto paint store should be able to match it up really close with their selection of paint chips. If not, Ford Grabber blue, a factory color from the late 60's-early 70's is almost a perfect match.

It's 'Racing Blue', code 0BY. The white is 'Egret White', code 189.

I work at Commonwealth Motorcycles as parts manager and Suzuki doesnt have paint codes that they give out for any of their bikes. The only way is a really ggod painter that can color match. The down fall of this is that the factory paint fades and they cant get a correct match. Suzuki uses Color Rite tel:1-800-736-7980 . You tell them the year and color and they will hook ya right up.

Yea, the colors fade and change with age so you need to match off a panel on the bike. The clear in particular turns yellow so even if you could find a color formula, it's very unlikely to properly match your actual bike. Auto paint stores should be able to match the paint for you easily.
