Yes, they are available from Suzuki part sellers, only the superceeded part number may not match the original emblem exactly depending on what kind of bike you have.

The original first silver colored one are really hard to find that say
      GS1000
      DOHC

A pair of brand new ones went on ebay a while back and I missed them, the next model on in the gold colour are much more accesable.
Depends on the level of restoration that you want to go to.
I had heard that there is a company in Australia that is dong a very passable reproduction silver anodised one and I had heard that they asked less than $50 for a pair.

Don't say can't, as anything is possible with time and effort, but, if you don't have time things get tougher and require more effort.

Got my side cover emblems in and they are the correct ones

Ordered them from carolina cycle center and just used the factory part look up deal they have on line. While these are avaialable still from Suzuki, I am going to order a few more for the vault. I even got a few of the OEM new sidecover/body panels in the bag stashed away also.

If I can get to the shop tomorrow, I will post up pics. these are the black ones with the silver words. I also got all new bushings and bearings for my swingarm and a bunch of sidecover bolts and other small stuff to keep the clean look going!
