    Custom Gs1000 seat

    Start with on riugh rusty seat bought from ebay..

    End up with a nice racing style seat.. Total outlay with sand blast, painting pan and recover a little leass than 270.dollars.

      Will post pic's on bike when temp kicks back above 30 devrees. feels way better, like i'm with the bike instead of perched on it

          It does kinda look steep, I agree, but all and all, looks good though.

            I know what you mean about feeling like your in the bike instead of on it. I did the same kind of mod to the seat of my first '81 1000G. Brought the center of gravity down and made cornering much easier. Sacrificed some comfort though.
            Current Bikes:
            2001 Yamaha FZ1 (bought same one back)
