alrighty, I got my Z1 package

and I replaced most of the screws however, I have some extras that I am unsure about:
    I have 8x of these

    and 9x of these

I would have 10x but I replaced the screw on the tach cable-engine connection...

    Where would these go?

The ones in the first pic I believe are for the cam end covers. The others could go anywhere. Any idea what size they are?

I concur, the first picture shows fasteners for the cam end covers.

Use Blue Loctite when installing them if you want to keep them.

The first thing I did when I got my kit was to go on the fiche and make smaller baggies for all the components.

Second ones look like they could be for the tops of the carbs or for the float bowls, but not if you only have 9, or even 10.

good point. It could work out for the inner carbs' tops in case I need to take them off w/o removing the carbs. or the outer ones for appearance reasons.

2 for the starter cover, 8 for the carb rail?

well my starter cover has 3 bolts, but I might be able to find another spot for it... Like on the horn

The stator cover appears to have 9. Although possibly of differing lengths?

yeah, theres 3 sizes I believe. I have all the covers' bolts set aside or in place currently. I was just curious about the few I mentioned

Did you go on Z1's website and try to decipher what those are for?
