What's wrong with pinstripe tape? I painted the tank on my old 550E and used tape from the auto parts store which turned out well. I can't post a link right now but if you go to my photobucket account, and check the GS550 album, you can see a few shots of how it turned out.

I like the design of what I have, with the 2 tapering lines of slightly different colors inside the end-caps of the pin striping.

If you don't mind sending your body parts to Reproduction Deals they will make a set for you for free so they can have the design for future use.

If they have the design that you need and you can come up with the stripe colour codes they will probably make you a set. Colour codes are usually on the parts listing at www.alpha-sports.com

I'm just surprised no one has this design already. Every 550 in our group had this design, not the one that is listed from the decal shops.

Can you post a high resolution photograph showing the tape stripes on your bike? I'm curious how the striping on your bike differs from that on my old '79. The forum photos are too small so please upload photos to photobucket or similar and then link the [img] code here so the photo will show up in high resolution.

Its funny you say that because i know for a fact that kz900 gets thier decals from reproduction decals so do alot of other companys that sell decals.They have the best around
