    yes or no?

I have a Shoei FM2 fairing, but none of the hardware or windscreen right now. Should I try to get the parts and put it on when I have some extra money?

This isnt anything too urgent since apparently it wont fit if the bars are a little bent, I just wanted some opinions about it.

(PO lost the mounts and broke the windscreen when he dropped(not crashed) my 650. )

    sorry for bad lighting.

I've heard from a couple of people here that those Shoei's can cause the front to wander at high speed. I'd pass.

Would have to see it at least mocked up on the bike, visuals are everything.

I actually dont know how to mount it, plus dont have the mounting hardware. I have been searching google for the last couple hours for a GS with this fairing and have had no luck so far.

I was hoping someone here would have some experience with them, and possibly has pics with it on theirs.

I also asked on facebook and the majority vote there is 'no, it looks fine without it' so I am leaning more to just keep it as a wall decoration.

No pics unfortunately but I've had a Shoei FM2 and 3 and a knock-off.I liked them allot, especially the hand protection.
Looking again you have some hardware there. You need the bar clamps off the round L bars and the fork things to go between the headlight and the ears.

My dad was really big on the hand protection part too, and I was in it for the windscreen.

Try it. What do you have to lose?

you, sir, have a great point. Once I am able to secure a job the $30 or so shouldnt be much of an issue.

(actually Im not sure who here is a sir or a ma'am yet so sorry if I got it wrong)

I dont, but at the same time my mind is pretty scrambled right now so I should probably get off for the night before I start posting about hamsters.

                        Yes.

Yes is too short for the system to accept, so again...

                        Yes.

If you do acquire the fairing one of these kits would probably work.

I'd mock it up as best I could before you spend money, you might not like how it looks and or it may not fit the way you would like for it to. Doct tape my friend duct tape hahah. Really try as mock up fit test and go from there. sachsaca, man or woman, with a name like that who knows.

The good thing about that fairing is that it keeps your hands shielded. It is great in spring / fall riding. You may not have that situation down south.
