thanks guys! im glad i got your opinions and input.. the first 3 times i did my tank were horrible, this is the first time i dont have cracks, bubbles, and disgusting mistakes everywhere (one time i tried to scratch a fly out of the wet paint, another i just left the fly in there LOL)... i cant wait till i ride this baby slow the color in itself it will certainly make me think twice about being a menace since it is going to be a serious eye catcher...John 3:16

so today when i go to get my inspection done these russian guys (im not trying to be racist) i found out later laughed when my good friend asked about my paint job (he didnt see it himself). i honestly think they were just jealous of the fact they would never be able to ride this bike and look good. what do you guys think? its okay to be honest (sorry i used a phone camera) and please i am open to suggestions to changes that you think would look nice on the bike. (btw no crease on the tank i left it sitting in the sun all day yesterday and today i left a micro-cloth inbetween the seat and tank- all is well)
should i paint the chain guard red or just get rid of the darn thing?Last edited by GabrielGoes; 03-02-2011, 09:53 PM.John 3:16

Hey nice work! I too will be starting my 3rd or maybe 4th painting of my tank. I hope duplicolor clear works out for you. I think that is what I used the first time around and it turned out not to be gas proof.
Old zooks look great in red!
Cheers,
Lyle
