To paint, or to ride ?

If I take the tank off to paint I can't ride, winter painting in the cellar ?
I'll get to it I guess, if you squint the paint lools pretty good.

Paint it, sit in that chair and watch it dry or ride it?

      I say trash the chair!

Keep your eye open for another set of bodywork. That way you wont be rushed to do a proper job. Then you can learn all the painting tricks, from the first job, to make the second set perfect.

            All good suggestions.
Ride, look for extra parts, paint extra parts, ride. Mmmm

Ride 1 of the other 2 in the picture--take your time and paint it right--then ride it!

I paint in the off season...and since we don't really have one my bike looks like dirt. I'm okay with it, though.

In NH I'm sure the winters get pretty cold so you want to ride during the summer as much as possible. Try to watch the weather as best as possible and do what you can. Either way, you'll lose a few days of riding so make it to where it's weather related after you paint it.

It looks good enough to me. Just ride it, screw the paint.

I spent the last few months fixing dents in the tank and repairing a sidecover for paint, got that done last month those got painted and are up and ready for riding, in the fall the bike gets broke down for a frame repaint and rims get done then.
