I will give you a fer-sure, guaranteed answer, no.
Can it be made to fit? Probably, but you would not want to use it when it's done.

probably the shape, size, mounting tabs, foam, cover, pan, ect...
The Ls have a whole different design, I did fit an aftermarket 850 foam and cover on my 650 pan, but both where for "L" Models and it was only a few inches too long but works.

You would have a lot of work cut out for you to make either seat interchange.
The L model seat mounts through slots on the right side of the frame and latch on the left.:
The E, C, G and whatever else models, mount on the left side of the frame and latch on the right:

I've noticed a "G" or two in the gallery that were mis-identified as "GL" models. The "L" models have the seats with a large step. They do not interchange with other "E" or "G" seats unless they are modified. And who would want to do that?
