    Black VM33's

I'm finally doing a set of carbs for ME! VM33's that I've had forever...going on the Cooley Beast project. 900 degree gloss black caliper paint, custom aluminum choke spools, and bowl drain bolts from some other model carb (can't remember).

Just ship them to Bruce with a list of what you want done

          He's surprisingly reasonable in cost

I see... . But a carb painting is not needed right now. Sometime down the road... Maybe after I polish up my engine. Yes... Black carb bodies with polished caps and bowls then finished off with SS hardware.

Killer work, as always, you sure do have a talent.
Just a personal observation, and not a critism in any way, I think if you had sanded the Mikuni name on the side of the carbs to shiny bare metal, it would have just given it a perfect accent, especially considering they are on the sides, and will be seen on the bike.
But that is just me, but Kudos once again.

Yeah, I did it all by myself.

Dip if needed, boil to leach out the oils in the aluminum, mask, etch prime, then three coats. They get baked for 1 hour @ 180 degrees F. VHT recommends this and says baking activates the chemical resistance of the paint. It also seems to make them even glossier.
