Unless you've swapped out the original seat for an '85 700 seat, you'll need the '83 750ES seat cover for your bike.

The '85 700ES has a different seat than the '83-'86 750ES you Canucks got. We only got the 750ES in '83, hence the year designation on the seat cover.

B&H SPECIALTIES did the seat that i outright rejected..in fact i called and got a restocking number and have already sent them back to them..The E seat looked so bad that i didnt even bother to rip the plastic bag open on the C cover..they got that back unopened..

Nope.. Thought about it just for general purpose and to get the bike on the road till I could get an original. BUt I think I need to use that money for the new brake lines(that I have been putting off).

I tried to call this guy but his mailbox is full. Just a little concerned about the staple to the seat attachment. Now where did I leave my steel pan staples? Called Verde Power Sports and got the same mailbox full message. Don't know what's going on here. I'm beginning to believe that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Stapling it to the 750 pan is not a problem, plastic.Don't have a seat for the 1000 yet but I don't think staples will cut it.Asked a question though eBay,got a answer in a couple of days.Did you try that?Thinking you did but asking instead of thinking.

No I didn't, don't even remember if I have an active account. What did they say? If it doesn't have a draw string , the '78-'79 cover is going to be difficult to attach.

I plan on using 3M spray adhesive on the cover and on the pan to apply the new seat cover when i get it. That stuff will hold and never let go. No staples or screws. Line it all up and apply adhesive to both the cover and pan,, lets sit a few minutes and stick the two together.
