Would you mind going into more details about how you got them to seal, and what went into doing all the machine work?
Looks like you machined out the cover, and epoxied a clear cover over that?

acrylic disc then cut and sealed into a recess in the aluminium ring with a stainless steel clamping ring then bolted on to hold it all together.
no epoxy was used1978 GS1085.
Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!
