Is Royal Purple a colored oil? Or is it just normal?

Would you mind going into more details about how you got them to seal, and what went into doing all the machine work?

Looks like you machined out the cover, and epoxied a clear cover over that?

You referring to the metal tube looking thing in the center of the cover? If so that's the actuation mechanism - the cover is a stressed member.

Yup, second breather. I've seen that on a few modded bikes....I think Katman's latest creation is also sporting one. Not sure how much difference it makes with windage.

the cover was machined on a cnc mill. then an aluminium ring was made and bonded/bolted to the cover.
acrylic disc then cut and sealed into a recess in the aluminium ring with a stainless steel clamping ring then bolted on to hold it all together.
                        no epoxy was used
