    Paint Code # ???

I have a blue 1983 GS1100E that I will be repainting shortly. Does anyone have the paint code or maybe something really close that they used?? Will post a few pictures when it is done.

Auto paint stores can match the color off a sample part. I usually take a side cover with me to the paint store and they do the rest.

I just found this website today...
      RS Motorbike Paint

You can do a search for your specific motorcycle's paint scheme. It doesn't have all of them, but you could possibly find something close. (the link will take you to a 1983 GS 1150 SE)

I can't seem to find a way to find the paint code, but you don't have to have it to find your paint scheme. If I find a way to look up the paint code, I will edit this post.

      I hope it is helpful.

Bikebandit has the code # for the 1100E factory colours. Go to 1983 GS1100ED, and look under 'Accessories'......yours is the Starry Blue Metallic, code # 17S I'm thinking, but please go to the site & confirm.

          Hi,

The factory code was "17S Blue". But I can't find a cross-reference for Color-Rite. You may have to take Mr. Nessism's suggestion.

          Thank you for your indulgence,
