    handlebar selection?

well i have a pair that im borrowing from another project but im going to have to replace them eventually. in other threads ive read that daytona or euro bars are a good swap but that is not what ive measured.

    i got
    rise - 7.5"

    pull back - 4.5"

    center with - 6"

    over all with - 30"

    end rise - 11"

i would like to try and get as close to OEM for a GS850GT
i know i wouldent like shorter bars cause i hate the reach/leaning forward and would like not to swap cables or do more electrical

I put the euro bars on my 850G and was able to do it without changing any cables. Simply by routing them differently I was able to swap with no changes. However these bars are alot lower and sportier than the originals.

You could ask around in the parts wanted section to see if anyone has an original set laying around, I'm sure someone would.

If you wanted new bars these ones may work for you, they have similar dimensions to the stock ones.

If not those you could probably find something that you like better on that site.

    Hope it helps.

Obvious answer: get some stock GT bars. Many guys take them off so it shouldn't be hard to find a pair.

BTW, the '82+ 850 bars are lower than the early 850 bars because the seat is lower.
