    Front fender interchange

    Hello all,

along with converting the headlight to a round light on my '81 GS1100e I'd also like to change out the front painted fender for a chrome one.

What other model chrome front fenders would fit the '81 GS1100e?

I'm not against drilling a hole or two or elongating existing holes to make a chrome fender work with my bike.

    Thanks,

    Tim

You'll need a fender from another GS with leading axle forks.

I think pretty much any GS-L model will work with minimal modification.

      Thanks Griffin.

      Good info.

I'm off to keep an eye on Ebay for an 'L' fender.

I'm leaving the cast wheels because they have dual disks, but the front fender and headlight need to go.

      Thanks again,

      Tim
