    Anodized Metal

I found a product called Metalgard Anodized Surface Color System. Its basically a transparent coloured paint that you spray over chrome, polished metal or silver-painted surfaces, and dries to look like an 'anodized' surface. It comes in a few colors. I did some of the parts on my Marauder in red & it looks really good. It especially looks sharp over chrome.
it doesn't really match the style of my older GS550, but for those of you who like the look of anodized metal, it does the trick.

I don't have a digital camera! I jsut bought an expensive 35mm camera 2 years ago before digital cameras became affordable, & I'm not about to replace it!
I painted the bar-end weights, the insert on the 'air cleaner' (PAIR valve), the dash trim piece, and I made two polished aluminum trim pieces for the sides of the radiator. I painted them red. It really looks good. The thing about the Marauder is that it's got a lot of chrome so there are lots of potential places I can add a little color.
This stuff comes in blue, green, red, yellow and purple, plus there is a special silver base coat for use on non-metallic pieces.

FYI, if you check the Sunday ads at places like CompUSA and Officemax, they often sell 2 megapixel cameras for less than $100 (after rebate). That's a pretty inexpensive price for a decent digital. Regular price is generally around $150 (or less) -- send in the rebate form and PRESTO ... you've got digital for a reasonable price!

        Enjoy,

I know I can get one cheap, and I should probably have one. It's just not on my list of priorities.

You can get you pictures copied to CD almost anywhere. If you know that you are taking 35mm pictures and might want to email some of them, have it doen when they are developed. Cheaper that way. I get CD's almost every roll now. I also have a 35mm and Im not just ready to get rid of it yet. Its only 25 years old and still takes great pictures.

Do you have a scanner. I don't have a digital camera either, but I've used my scanner to get my avatar pics. Just my two pennies.
