If it were my bike, I would put a brushed aluminium satin finish on the can and leave the rest black.

I voted leave it black, but after reading Steve's reply that actually makes some sense... brushed alu. look is nice
Maybe you should go play with your green hovercraft thing for a bit and ponder your choices?1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

Flaming Chainsaws
My vote is for satin black but brushed aluminum would also look nice.
OK.... So why is there a hose going to the oil filler hole? I've seen it a lot but never understood what it does.

i have an aluminium streetfighters knuckle duster which i am thinking of bolting to the white can, it will be sprayed black and act as a heel guard too. here is a mock up.....

The black end cap on the can with the can itself in brushed Ali would indeed look cool.
Better start a new poll eh
Like the knuckle duster. Nice bit of biker bling but think something with straight slashes on the can might look better.
Maybe a pair of knuckle dusters, one either side on the frame stiffening plates just below the seat where the two sections of tube meet.Last edited by Guest; 08-29-2011, 06:53 AM.
