Wow Flyboy! Thanks for the awesome tip! You may have sent me down the dark and long path to follow in DrImodium's footsteps of excessive modifications haha! Most likely it'll just be a lovely dream tho haha!

Here is the exploded veiw of the Intruder wheel, looks the same to me, except it is on the other side, but it could be fitted on either side.
one would just have to check if the number of splines are the same, but I am sure they are.
Go Mifune, next time you do a rear tire, maybe you can do a count for us.

Haven't done much to her lately, I just havent had the time. I had to clean out the garage at my apartment this afternoon so I cold fit another project in there. I pulled her out and blew the dust off. This is the first time she's been out in the open in 3 months. I can't wait to get some paint layed down and go for a ride.

Is the rear of the tank mounted? If so, how'd you do it?

The rear of the tank is NOT mounted in those pictures. It will be mounted with a stud, brass plate, and probably a wing nut. We'll see.....

Not sure about the paint job but, I would add a half fender to the front and a fender from the swing-arm to the tail myself.

Not sold on the gold but not sure what accent would be unique. I've always though red looks good with these bikes, especially ones that keep a lot of chrome/polished aluminum.

Everything is done except paint, Brake lines, and 530 conversion. Im open to ideas on color and layout......hitting a creative block at the moment.

What about a silver base coat with a color stripe running down the middle? Classic Cafe Racer scheme.

Maybe you could pick up the blue on your brake fluid cap and work that into the bike. Either as a accent or a base coat. Color can be good, no reason to stick to a black scheme.

A blue and white scheme would be really cool. Sorta a nod to Suzuki's classic racing colors.

Your bike has a lot going on for it already, with the sprocket cover and the rear sets, a simpler scheme would be perfect.

I also think adding a tiny front fender would be really nice. Tie the bike (and forks) together better.
