Polishing that unseen cover is almost as much fun as polishing the cam chain tensioner.
(And makes just about as much sense. )

By the way, the cam chain tensioner shown earlier is also on HER bike.
The cam covers on my Wing are already chromed from the factory, so I just need to wipe them off occasionally.

No, no, no Steve, I was talking about those little half circle things with the four bolts, labled A B C and D that hold those stick things in the top of the head in place, under the valve cover.

They don't polish up very well, so I don't bother with them.

Nice job bakirkwold - what was the process? Various grades of wet and dry paper, a polishing wheel? Both?

Thanks Syd. It was all wet sanding. I used 400 then 2000 I used the 2000 only because that's what I had. Then I used this stuff http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...0454&ppt=C0209and a polishing wheel for my drill like this http://www.autogeek.net/3-5inch-foamed-wool-pad.html
