    Caliper and drum painted

after paint. I used this stuff. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Caliper-Aerosol-Paint,-Red,-12-oz--Aerosol-Duplicolor_7141502-P_N3276_T|GRP2050
Then I baked it at 200* F in the oven. It worked well for the rear drum too.

Do you really have to bake them or can you just wait until you are riding and they heat up anyway?

                    Caliper looks pretty.

Suzuki calls for changing the rubber brake lines every TWO years. Yea, this is excessive, but after 30 years it's time!

The baking gets them much hotter than they will ever get under any riding conditions..thats why they say to bake the paint on. Also I think the springs are supposed to be at the top of the lines and not on the calipers.

Nice work! I'm really disappointed with how mine came out, that paint you used is obviously much better than the 3M caliper paint I used.

                        Very shiny and bright

Yup you should for sure, if you get a spot of fluid on it before curing it'll peel the paint straight off. If it's baked first then it's a lot more resistant to fluid. I can't see getting the caliper up to 200 degrees being real easy on the road either which is where it needs to be baked at typically...
