The bike has a bandit front end and rear swinger. I am thinking of doing the side covers in carbon fiber and painting the tank the same silver as the Suzuki stickers. Any input?

Hydro dipped rear tail rear
I am new to this motorcycle thing and have been battling a idle problem on my 76 GS750 for months now. Ive been dipping guns for awhile so while I was waiting for parts I figured I would give this rear piece a go with some old carbon fiber I had. Not perfect due to me not being familiar with the correct angle for this part but a big improvement from its original condition.

Is this expensive?
I have my FFL and do entire guns for $150. I don't feel like I am ready to charge for most motorcycle accessories due to lack of experience I cant do parts well enough to meet my standard. Id charge $40 for that piece once i get these types of parts down.
