    Which seat?

I've been looking around for a seat for my GS850 for a few weeks now.. I'm not entirely set on the cafe look, but after seeing this bike, I found that i'm dead set.

I'm looking for the name / part number on this seat! I'm fairly certain it came off Dimecity.. I am just not sure which one it is.

Lol. Thank goodness my rear does not need That much cushioning. That'd make me feel the need to have my grandmother ride bitch. No thanks.

Search "cafe seat" on EBay and you will find a lot of them. Probably some of the best prices around too. Don't forget Spyug's warning to you about the seat though. Get something with a real seat, not just a thin foam pad, or you will hate riding the thing for any distance.

Also check out Hotwing Glass. Good quality fiberglass and pads that are actually comfortable.

I think you and Chuck have alot in common, this is his seat on his newly acquired '78 GS1000C. Chuck will probably pay you to take it off his hands! It would probably cover 20 cafe seats with the vinyl off this thing.
It reminds of a tick that looks like it was about to pop!

Thanks for the feedback, and the links, guys. It's appreciated.

So if I were to be ordering a universal seat - 81 gs850g, which frame would I be basing it on?

Have you seen the seat that JimmyR made for his GS1100G in his build?
                          Beautiful!

I did see it.. Not a huge fan, but it does help the look of the bike.

Check out my build thread to see what I've done!
