Turn signals
What are you guys using for aftermarket turn signals? Is there any that do not require getting a new flasher? Thanks guys!Tags: None

You only need a new flasher - or at least a load equaliser - if you change from bulbs to LED AFAIK. Installing a new flasher is a piece of cake anyway.
This place is not the easiest to navigate, but I have gotten some cool stuff from there.
World's largest online store of Motorcycle parts. Huge stock of custom parts, gears and OEM parts with various shipping and payment. Experience over 2mil. items and true Japaense quality & service.
It's where I got the turn signal brackets that are a straight bolt-on to my GS1100 lower triple tree- the lights and brackets are made by Daytona:
It's also where I got my headlight brackets and some cool turn signals for my harley too:

They should work. They are plastic, if that makes any difference. I doubt you'll need to change the blinker.

I just grabbed some cheap bullet signals from a random eBay source. They were LED so I did need to change out the signal relay. $5 at AutoZone, and done.

You sure can't beat that price! My signals cost rather a lot more than that! But mine are made in Japan and cast out of metal so I will console myself with that. :-) Make sure you take pics of them installed.

i've bought cheap a few time and tbh the quality is never that great.... cheap moulded plastic with ill fitting lenses, bulbs that are loose, or fittings that never properly tighten are just a few of the issues encountered. personally, i'd be looking at spending more than that to ensure a little better quality. imo.

I found these, that are similar to the japanweb ones posted earlier, aluminum body. They like pretty nice. I'm purchasing a pair, I'll take some pictures and let you guys know how they work out.

They do not flash with the stock flasher. They are 10W bulbs the stock ones are 23W. what flasher should I get. Just an electronic one? Like this? https://partimages.genpt.com/partimages/1329703.pdf

I have cheapy signals on mine, and I've had to do a lot of creative thinking, with much trial and error to keep them working. I would also recomend spending more for a quality product...'83 GS 1100T
