Seat differences "E" model vs standard

Hey people, my 1978 GS750 seat has small 1/2 wide chrome rails running the length of the seat. Can I use any 1978 seat cover and just delete the chrome strips? They are in excellent condition as is the pan, are they worth anything?

If you don't like the seat trim pieces, will you sell them to me?
Actually, the B models did not have the trim.
But the C and N models did.

I have already removed the trim pieces and shaved the foam down to my liking. I just need an upholstery job but thanks! BTW, What's your offer on the trim pieces?
