Engine painting advice
Just got my '79 GS1000S engine with 20K on it back from having it soda blasted & need your advice. While all the road grime is gone, I'm not thrilled with overall condition of the finish, some parts look alright but others leave somthing to be desired. I'm doing a frame off restoration to make it a high quality rider. What paint would you recommend which will hold up to riding? Rest of bike is coming along well but would like the engine to at least somewhat match the quality of Larry Pearson's paint work on all the body work. Thanks for your opinions.Tags: None

I restored an 1985 Madura and used Eastwoods black radiator paint on the engine with awesome results. It is made to not affect engine temps and looks high gloss in the end as well. My GS has no paint on the engine.
