1982 GS450T work in progress
I picked this GS up awhile ago for $600. It had a damaged exhaust, so I welded my own from plain steel. I made the fork gaiters from Rancho shock boots (cheap). They fit and work great. The front and rear signals are bullet style. I also flipped my headlight bracket upside down, lowering the headlight. The handle bars are from a local bike shop, i'm not sure of the brand/style, but they are standard straight bars. I put on some retro style grips, and flipped the bracket holding the gauges, so they are also lower to be closer to the lowered headlight. The mufflers are shorty style, with custom baffles I made. The bike sounds great and screams up to 8000 rpm. It has pods to match the homemade exhaust, and has been methodically fine tuned and re-jetted.Tags: None

Looks good! I like the idea of flipping the bracket for the gauges, have you got anymore pictures of how they look?
