What will remove them? I tried chrome cleaning/rubbing compound, sos pads, another compound called bar keepers friend.

I've attached a buffing wheel, something somewhat coarse, to my angle grinder, my big one!, and with some black rouge it cleaned it up pretty well. Nothing 9000 rpm can't fix.Rob
