What fork boots/gaiters do you use?

Fancy putting a set on to protect my new forks when I fit them.

Looking for some recommendations of the correct dia and length and also something that won't break down in the sun...

Oldschool turned me onto these Rancho 1952's, i think they are called.
Cheap, 7 bucks a pair. Perfect fit around the fork tube on the top (on my 1100e), and the bottoms fit nicely over the just cap on the bottom.
The profile of the gaiter rib matches the contour of the dust cap nicely.
In the picture I had not yet cut the excess off the bottom.
Not long term tested yet but they very supple.
Let me know if you need any measurements or other pics.

So how do they say in place? or do they just slide? I'd hate to have to 'fix' them every time I ride.

The 1952 Ranchos are very popular with the BMW K-bike crowd.

Dan, I put a set of Traxxion fork guards on my 1100E...not as full coverage as the gaiters, but pretty good.

I've got the same guards as Bob on my 850. I really like the way they look, and have no complaints about them so far. They work very well at deflecting things that could ding the tubes. Plus I think the rubber gaiters are ugly. Functional no doubt, but ugly .

Thanks... Rancho's it likely is then. I'd seen the Traxxion's & the other smaller Cheaper ones BWringer has (I think it's him). If I didn't have to remove the fork legs anyway I'd definitely go that route.
