    1980 GS 750E Bought new in Feb of 1980
    2015 CAN AM RTS


    Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

        I have one in the shop with 48K and still has the sticker
        1984 GS1100GK newest addition to the heard

          I believe the joke lies in the suggestion that the sticker be removed once the service has been performed.

          Its sort of like rinse repeat in shampoo where you receive no instruction when to stop.

            I though it was kinda neat that the sticker was still on it, so I left it.

              In my short 35+ years of riding, I have only purchased three "NEW" bikes.

              That sticker was gone before the bike left the dealer's lot.

                Imagine the discipline it takes to not remove that sticker for 31 years..........
                My wife gives me hell for not taking the protective plastic off of things after a day, lol.
