      Gonna have to try the Dot 3 brake fluid. I have 3 ABS fenders for my bike and need to be stripped. I guess it will strip the factory pin stripping off as well.

      Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.

        More than 24 hours with DOT3 fluid on the plastic and no damage or discoloration evident. Pour it on thickly enough and the paint just bubbles right off the surface, just like Aircraft Stripper (except with no horrific smell.)

          Throw us some pics of the final results...so the DOT 3 was the ticket then.

                    And that's after just one wipe each with a soft sponge. I just poured some directly on last night, didn't even really try to soak it as most of it ran off.

                      Few more applicatiions and youll be back down to the nice original blue!!! Glad its working out for you. Maybe soak some paper towels in the brake fluid and lay on the surfaces and just let it soak in a good amount of time. Longer it can stay wet and in contact with the paint the easier it will wipe off.

                          i am thinking wet towels will let the fluid stay put and wick into the paint and basically turn it to goo after a while.

                              Plastic bag will keep the stuff from drying too.

                              No damage to the plastic so far? Does it eat the original Suzuki paint too?

                                he said earlier that he let fluid set for 24 hrs in the inside and it did no damage. I dont think the palstic was originally painted..least that was my understanding. He said the tank was the same blue as the blue in the molded plastic already.
