    82 1100e seat for 82 650g?

Since I cannot see the mounting hardware on the 82 1100 I am asking this question. I was wondering if it would mount up easily/with no modification. It looks extremely similar, so it may be close. This is the exact bike on CL. It looks like its off a little in the picture, but what do i know

You're going to need a pretty big hammer.

How about this seat? Mounting looks similar but I have no idea what it would look like since I have not seen the seat in person and I am only going off my mounting points on the frame. It says from a 650L so it may be kinda close. Your opinions?

Looking for a good seat for a 1982 GS1100E. Just bought the bike today here in Phoenix. The owner said the motor has a knock in it,I'm hoping it's the clutch rattling, maybe the nut's loose. I had that problem on my 81 a few years ago. I'll try and gets some pics up in few days.

              Seat

Go to Bob's Cycle Salvage at 1325 E Elwood in Phoenix (602-437-3148).

I just got a seat for my 79 GS there last week.
They are on the top shelf in the back and you will have to climb the "rack of death" to get to them.
There are 4 or 5 in very good condition (mine doesn't even need to be re-covered).
