    Paint for chrome parts?

ow do i prepare the chrome parts so I can paint them? Is there a preferred paint that anyone has used that they really like over all the rest?

    Thanks, Jay

dull the chrome with some fine sandpaper, degrease well, & prime with a self-etching primer. Then paint with whatever you want...

Here is a great quote from that post. Thanks Chuck.

The chrome will literally melt off and sit on the bottom of the bin. The thing that sucks is disposal of the chromium..which is a toxic hazmat in liquid form.

I usually just take it down to the river at midnight and dump it in..then in about 3 weeks i start catching 3 eyed catfish..JK.
